1. This week BatCat Press has successfully started production on Rosemary Macuga’s children’s book. Check back soon for a release date for The One That Counts, along with information regarding Paul Cunningham’s This Boy, This Broom.
2. The winter reading period will open December 1st, 2009 and will close January 15th, 2010. Visit the “Submissions” page on our website for the particulars on submitting creative works and other information about the reading period.
3. This week BatCat is announcing the @Series. @Series publications will be limited editions of chapbooks and broadsides featuring single poems and short works of prose. The first edition of the @Series will be Katie Ailes’ Ars Poetica, set for release in mid-December.
